I am facing this error “You cannot change Location Code because there exists at least one posted transaction” when trying to change the location on an Item card.

This error occurs because the item already has posted transactions linked to the original location.
To fix it:
- You cannot change the location code on the item directly after transactions exist.
- Instead, use Item Reclassification Journal to move quantities from one location to another.
- Going forward, ensure correct location is selected before any transactions are posted.
